This Is The Best Hotel in Milos, Greece
Where to Stay on Milos, Greece? Milos Cove Hotel is a dream, and the best luxury boutique hotel on the Greek Island.

Milos has become one of the most talked about Greek Islands for a reason - this island is truly something special and incredibly unique. From the famous moonscapes of Sarakiniko Beach, to the unbelievable Kleftiko Bay, to the hilltop town of Plaka and the Venetian Castle, the unequivocal best sunset spot. Click here for my guide to the best beaches on the island.
With the island's growth in popularity over the last few years, new luxury hotels have opened up - Milos Cove might be the most unique among them. We came here as part of our six week honeymoon, and it was our favorite hotel of the entire Mediterranean tour. We stayed on Milos for 5 nights and I wouldn't suggest any less - I wish we could have had another couple of days here.

Milos Cove feels like a bit of a trek the first time you drive here. (And yes, you really do need a rental car to stay here and enjoy all Milos has to offer.) The resort is located on a quiet, rugged, mostly undeveloped cove on the west side of the island - but is only around a 20 minute drive from the airport or the ferry port. It truly feels like you are on a private island when you are at the hotel here, it is so incredibly serene.
Make sure to rent at least a small SUV and not a standard economy car to drive over the unpaved parts of the road comfortably. We also found that the SUV upgrade was necessary for other parts of the island as well, and well worth the nominal extra cost.

The Pool

The hotel's infinity pool hangs over the stunning, pristinely untouched rock face and beach of the cove, and the white stone glimmers in the sun. The pool deck always had the perfect vibe of quiet relaxation, but with a great loungey soundtrack.

There is a poolside bar for craft cocktails or a poolside lunch.
The Beach

Milos Cove Hotel is perched over the private cove of Agkali beach, which is accessible only through the hotel or by boat. With beautifully candy-colored cliffs, a small set up of chairs and umbrellas for hotel guests, and a picturesque private beach feel. Ever since our stay here, this photo has been

The bay here is very swimmable, with a gentle wave when the winds pick up.

While here, don't forget to look down at the rocks all over the beach, with beautiful striations and a rainbow of vibrant colors. I am someone that never sits still, and spent much of our 'relax' time hunting the beach for the most beautiful rocks.

For an even more private beach, take a short hike on the walking path down from the hotel to the next cove over to the mostly unknown Kolympisionas Beach. We were here for hours without another soul... making it the perfect place for skinny dipping. See more details on this beach here.
The Rooms

Every room in all room categories at Milos Cove has a private plunge pool. Our room was spacious, well-appointed and serene. What else could you possibly need?
Dining

The included breakfast was fantastic, and we ate here everyday with this unbeatable view. I remember a baked egg shakshuka dish as one of the standouts!
We only ate dinner at the hotel's Pathos restaurant on our very first night, as we spent so much of our time on Milos exploring the island from tip to tip, but it is excellent. On our night here we saw a couple arrive from another island by helicopter just to have dinner here... which should tell you really all you need to know.

Through my 10 years of being a travel photographer and blogger, I have had the chance and priviledge to stay at many of the world's top hotels and even after all this time, Milos Cove is really a standout.
