Las Vegas is one of my favorite places in the world for photos. The Vegas Strip is nonstop visual overload - from the neon lights to ornate hotels and endless vibey restaurants and bars, as well as the nearby absolutely stunning nature,  there is an endless amount of places to photograph - I've narrowed down the best ones (including details and prices) to create a sheet-cheat for your next weekend in Sin City!

1. The Fountains of Bellagio

The Fountains of Bellagio, a spectacular water and light show set to music, is a quintessential Las Vegas experience. In the evening, the show goes off every 15 minutes. Capture the magic of the fountains with a photo from the nearby pedestrian bridge or go big and reserve a table on the patio at Lago, for the best view (and a really fantastic meal - it's a bit pricy, but worth it.) 

2. The Neon Museum 

The Neon Museum is home to over 200 vintage neon signs, many of which date back to the mid-20th century. Wander through the outdoor exhibit and snap photos of the colorful and quirky signs. Tickets start at $22 for adults, with private photography packages available for proper photoshoot. Or you can reserve the entire museum for a private event - we had our elopement  here!

3. The Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas

The Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas is a half-scale replica of the iconic French landmark.  You can take an elevator to the top for panoramic views of the Strip and the surrounding desert - which is $20 for tickets. But we found that some of the best views of both the tower and the Arc de Triomphe were actually right at the hotel's entrance at the Porte-cochère. 

4. The Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Sign 

No visit to Las Vegas is complete without a photo at the iconic Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign. This landmark, located on the south end of the Strip, and is one of the most well known stops in Las Vegas. There is no charge to take photos at the sign, but there are often Elvis impersonators or other locals offering a variety of services for tips. There's often a long line here, which you can avoid by going first thing in the morning.

5. Seven Magic Mountains 

Seven Magic Mountains is a stunning art installation located in the desert just outside of Las Vegas. The seven towering, brightly colored stacks of boulders have been a photo staple for years, and are still worth a stop - especially if you're driving in to Vegas. Entrance is free.

6. The Walkways above the Strip 

It is true that The Las Vegas Strip is not nearly as walkable as it looks on a map - everything is much farther apart than meets the eye, but if you do choose to walk some of the strip (which you should), the walkways and pedestrian street crossings offer great views of the different hotels and landmarks, and can give you a great vantage point for photos.

7. Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area

Red Rock Canyon is a stunning natural wonder located just west of Las Vegas, around 30 minutes outside of the city. If you are looking for some great hikes in the area, this is one of the most beautiful and closest places to visit. Hike one of the many trails for breathtaking views of the red rock formations and desert landscape. Entrance fee is $15 per vehicle.

8. The Venetian Canal Rides

The Venetian hotel and casino boasts a replica of the iconic canals of Venice, complete with gondolas and singing gondoliers. The exterior of the Venetian and the indoor mall with projection ceiling are some of my favorite places in all of Las Vegas - we have stayed at the Venetian 3 times now! Entrance to walk around is free, and a boat ride will run you between $50-150.

9. Valley of Fire State Park

Valley of Fire State Park is a natural wonderland filled with stunning red rock formations and ancient petroglyphs. The park is most known for the famous road cutting through the red rocks, but we found so many more just otherworldly places hiking on just a couple of the many trails,  and even a drive through the park gives you nonstop jaw-dropping views. Valley of Fire is about an hour's drive from Las Vegas, but it is well worth the day trip - just be careful in the summer, I gave myself a bit of heat stroke here (which I definitely don't recommend). Entrance fee is $10 per vehicle.

10. The Luxor Hotel and Casino Sphinx

 The Luxor Hotel and Casino is far from the nicest hotel in Las Vegas, but the iconic pyramid shaped building and huge Sphinx is well worth a stop for a fun or kitschy photo stop - I love the way ours turned out. 

11. The Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Gardens 

The Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, located in the lobby of the Bellagio Hotel, is a stunning indoor oasis filled with flowers, trees, and fountains - and really intricate, stunning installations that change every season. Entrance is free, and if you really want to take great photos here, try to go early in the morning or late at night. I come through here every single time we come to Las Vegas to see what the newest installation is. 

12. Brunch at Sadelle's

 

Walk straight through the Bellagio's Botanical Gardens to Sadelle's, one of the cutest restaurants on the Las Vegas strip. Dress up in something extra-girly and pink for cute thematic photos (I love always dressing to the theme!), and make sure to request a booth to sit in when you make your reservation.

13. Mayfield's Supper Club 

 Mayfield's Supper Club is a hidden gem located in the heart of downtown Las Vegas. This speakeasy-style restaurant is known for its vintage décor and classic cocktails, as well as live dinner theater burlesque shows. I loved the detail at the bar, as well as the peacock blue leather booths - especially with an on camera flash. 

14. Trevi Fountain Replica at Caesars Palace 

 The Trevi Fountain is one of the most famous landmarks in Rome, but did you know that there's a lookalike right  in Las Vegas? The Trevi Fountain replica can be found at the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace, and it's the perfect spot for a photo - I really love a "around the world" series in Las Vegas for the camp alone. This stunning fountain features intricate details and stunning sculptures, and it's pretty easy to get a photo with it unobstructed. 

15. The Flamingo Hotel Entrance

 The Flamingo Hotel is one of the most iconic hotels on the Las Vegas Strip, and its entrance is the perfect classic Vegas background, with its bright pink neon sign and lush greenery, the Flamingo entrance instantly reads VEGAS.

16. The Venetian Hotel Second Floor Walkway

 The Venetian Hotel is known for its stunning architecture and intricate details, and the second-floor walkway is one of my favorite spots on the strip. This walkway offers views of the Grand Canal and the gondolas below, as well as the beautiful frescoes and artwork that adorn the walls and ceilings. This is the perfect spot for a romantic photo - we shot our post wedding photos here!

17. Toca Madera

 Toca Madera is not only a great Mexican restaurant, it's one of the vibiest restaurants on the strip, with an incredible entryway,  super photogenic dishes, and great booths. The vibrant colors, unique lighting fixtures, and eclectic furnishings make it a perfect spot for night-out snaps. Also - come here early for the happy hour at the bar, it's an AMAZING deal for Las Vegas. 

18. Skybar

SkyBar, located on the 23rd floor of the Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas, is one of Vega's best rooftop bars, with unparalleled views of the city's skyline. The outdoor terrace provides a breathtaking backdrop for drinks with a VIEW.
